“Bye Bye Birdie” is looking for a few more volunteers

downloadThe all school musical “Bye Bye Birdie” is in the midst of rehearsal and set building has now started. Mr. Hincka is in charge of the set and tells us “We have had great participation in our first two work sessions, are making excellent progress, and having a lot of fun!”

They are looking for a few more parents to help out with the set building. The volunteers are meeting again on Thursday, September 14 from 4-7pm, and Saturday, September 16 from 10am to 2pm in the ‘scene shop’ in the PAC. Carpentry skills are not required.  If saws and hammers are not for you, volunteers are needed for props, costumes, painting. There are even openings for parents in the show.  Please contact Caroline Tailor (ctailor@stjohns.be) if you’d like to get involved.

We thank all the amazing parent volunteers for making this show a big success!
