In art, Grade 1 and grade 2 students met with Belgian book writer/illustrator Francoise Rogier.
She showed her books and explained her profession. Students learned about the various steps involved in making a book as well as the scratch art technique. Each student will illustrate a story and make a book during their new art unit on Poetry.
