Our youngest students had a sharing assembly where the Kindergarten students shared some learning from their most recent Unit of Inquiry. The central idea is that there are different ways to tell a story and children chose to re-tell a story through acting, a puppet show, using a setting and characters made from LEGO a story map and of course by writing their own books.
Their friends and teachers were enthralled by the enthusiasm shown by these young learners and the audience was impressed by the confidence shown by everyone. Homeroom teachers were delighted to hear how honestly the students reflected on their own performances.
